Joshua and Katherine met in September of 2000 at Trident Technical College through a friend John Garzon. I lived at the Fort on Folly Beach and Joshua and John lived downtown. John and I had an English class together. On the full moon in September, I invited John to come to a party. John brought Joshua to the party where Katherine and him talked all night long. The next day at school the three of us decided to go to the beach to go swimming. After that day Joshua called Katherine, who really wanted to go see a band from Ashville, GFE. Joshua and I went to the show that night and the rest is history.
The engagement came seven years later! Joshua and I decided to go Ashville, NC to celebrate our anniversary. On the way to Ashville, NC we stopped at Chimney Rock, NC this is where Joshua proposed to me. We were on a wooden bridge with the view of the mountain and a river underneath us. Joshua turned to me and popped the question with his grandmothers ring from 1953. I was so excited that I just started to cry and hugging him. We then drove to Ashville to go and celebrate.

Our wedding ceremony will be at Summer Place Lane located on seventh block of Folly Beach. There is limited parking so please ensure that you give yourself an extra few minutes to walk to the location if needed. Our ceremony begins at 6:30pm. The ceremony will probably be around thirty minutes long.

Our reception location is Edisto Hall in James Island County Park. This park is a majestic place with tons of oak trees and spanish moss. The hall is a large building located near the entrance of the park. Our menu of the evening will be an array of Charleston charm and other delicious foods. The reception will have a dj so we can dance the night away.

We just want to say thank you to all of our friends and family who have supported us through the years.Thank you for all the support and love. We are looking forward to sharing our special day with everyone.
